HOW TO GET TO

Amorgos

By ship

It is accessible by ferry from Athens, in particular from port of Piraeus. There are almost daily itineraries from / to Amorgos. The trip lasts from 6 – 10 hrs, depending on the ship company you are going to choose. Be aware that there are two ports in Amorgos, Aegiali and Katapola. You may also reach Amorgos from nearby islands, Santorini, Mykonos, Naxos by ship.

By airplane

Please note that Amorgos does not have airport. Alternatively, you may take the plane from Athens International Airport to the nearest airport (Santorini, Naxos, Mykonos) and afterwards take the ship to Amorgos.

How to reach Uranos studios

Situated perfectly over Aegiali Bay, in the north part of Amorgos, it is:
• 3 km from Aegiali port
• 17 km from Chora
• 23 km from Katapola port
• 20 km from Panagia Hozoviotissa monastery

Directions from Katapola port:

Follow the provincial road Katapola – Tholaria.
You take the 3rd exit on roundabout and stay at the provincial road Katapola – Tholaria. Just before reaching Aegiali, you turn right, following the sign to Potamos village. Uranos is at the beginning of the village, next to the parking of the village.

Directions from Aegiali port:

Upon getting off the ship, go straight ahead and turn right upon reaching the crossroad. After 100 m approximately, you see a sign to Potamos village, turn left and follow the uphill road. Uranos is at the end of this road, next to the parking of Potamos village.
